From the golden age of Vittorio De Sica and Federico Fellini to the more recent Roberto Benigni and Giuseppe Tornatore, Italy is the country in the world that won more Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. Here is the list of all Italian movies that won from 1947 to 2010.

 

1947 - Scuscià  (Shoe-shine) - Vittorio De Sica (Special Award)

1949 - Ladri di biciclette (The Bycicle Thief) - Vittorio De Sica (Special Award)

1950 - Le mura di Malapaga (The Walls of Malapaga) – René Clément (Special Award)
