Which Country Won More Oscars ?

  

 

It’s Oscar time! Today the golden statuettes for 2012 will be awarded in Los Angeles, so it’s a good time for some history of this prestigious Hollywood prize. Did you know that Italy is the country in the world that won the greatest number of Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film ?

 

Here is the complete list of all the countries that won from 1947 to 2010. The list includes the Honorary Awards that were given between 1947 and 1955 to foreign languages films released in the States.
